Knowledge means to know and to get information about something. The human being is superior to the angels only due to the knowledge. Allah revealed to the Prophet (SAW), at first, about the knowledge. Read, in the name of Allah Who created mankind and taught him that he knew not .

"So the mankind took a start from the knowledge. It proves the importance and significance of knowledge that Allah said to the prophet to pray for more knowledge, "O Allah! Enhance my knowledge. The difference between learned and ignorant is due to the knowledge.

Allah bestowed the human being an honourable name as "Ashraf-Mukhluqat" (The greatest of all creatures) for that reason that he has a knowledge . Owing to this Allah made the knowledge compulsory for both male and female. "Getting of knowledge is compulsory both for male and female " .

It has come in the tradition , " Get knowledge from cradle to grave". Like wise learned people are the heirs of the all Prophets. It is obvious from statements that knowledge is a light. Without that light a mankind keeps away from the blessing of Allah and a path of humanity.

Knowledge guides the mankind and shows the path of success . Mankind can bring revolution in the life of his children due to knowledge. Knowledge eradicates the darkness of ignorance. It tells the mankind about the difference between the truth and the false.

Mankind gets the happiness of Allah due to knowledge. We can use the knowledge as a stair to keep close ourselves to the Allah . Knowledge is that power ,due to which a mankind has discovered a lots in the universe. Man was helpless being when he was sent to this earth. He discovered fire, learnt its use and acquired power.

During the course of time he got mastery over the various forces of nature. He has invented telegraph, telephone,steam engines , railways,aeroplanes, rockets, computer and space ships. Atomic energy and electricity are his maid servants. He can fly in the skies and go deep into the oceans.It is all through knowledge.
